I'm sure most of you would've heard something about all the political unrest and protests etc that's happening over in Thailand at the moment. It's just crazy in a not good way. In all honesty, the way that it's currently going, i don't know how Thailand will ever come to a resolution, because as soon as one party gets their way, the party that just lost protests and causes problems until that party gets kicked out, then the other party comes back to get their way again. it seems to be a never ending cycle. But we do know that God is able to do all things, so now would be a great time to be praying for Thailand and for those in power.
As a small aside, praise God that i was able to make it to Singapore safely today, despite some uncertainty last night when traveling through to Bangkok. But i'm meant to be returning on Thursday. Thankfully i don't need to travel through the city at all and only need to change planes at the airport, so please pray that there won't be any problems with that, and that i'll be able to get back into Thailand safely on thursday.
In the meantime though, it's been great to be able to see my friends tan, matt, kris, nick and all the kids again here in singapore. please pray for a good time of rest, relaxation and time with them.
Welcome to PlaaPlaaPlaa!
So you may be wondering why PlaaPlaaPlaa? What are those strange fish symbols above? What is ปลา and what does it mean? In short, this is a blog site, so surely there's going to be plenty of rambling. Unfortunately BlahBlahBlah was already taken, so I had to settle for the 'Plaa'. But there's actually more to it then just ramblings. The first fish symbol is actually a Christian symbol meaning ICTHUS - a greek acronymn which means "Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Saviour". The other strange letters you see in the last fish is actually the thai word for fish which funnily enough is pronounced "Plaa". So when you put it all together, this site is going to be my ramblings in telling people about how Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Saviour in Thailand (with plenty of good stories about food in between). Happy reading.
